You do realise that if cinemas are turning (near) zero profits, then the first people that are going to be fired are those part-time workers and others who actually run the cinemas and depend on their paychecks?
Also, you do realise that when movie production grounds to a halt, it is not the A-list actors or the studio heads who will suffer the most. They can go back to their luxurious homes without having to fear about their immediate livelihoods. Instead, it will be everyone else who relies on their paycheck to live, such the caterers, camera operators, visual effects artists, costume and set designers, technicians, assistants, extras, etc.
Before you get to enjoy “these privileged pricks suffer”, you’ll be seeing a whole lot more “non-privileged pricks” suffer first and much more severely.
